the mast being true is hugely critical!
i imagine the whole mast will have to be checked structurally - any evidence of cracks or structural damage and they'll have to lay it down.
the mast supports the entire weight of the drill string - if they proceeded and had another incident and people were harmed - well u can imagine the ramifications
