Agree that if you're not in now, having made some tax free gains already, then it is a tad risky. This would explain the Mexican standoff of late as not many people are willing to sell now, and not many big buyers stepping up.

Would seem this first drill has at least a 50/50 chance of encountering gas, whether commercial or not. Accept that if it is a duster the SP will fall at least 50%. You, johnno and other posters believe this project is bigger than one drill, given the potential and support.

What is surprising has been the lack of media coverage - perhaps time of year has a bearing, and expect we'll get choppers over the rig if the next announcement is encouraging.

Have always found the project exciting and pity about MEO dampener at an important time. Hope you walked away with little damage and that you join us after the next MMR update. Be good to read all you O&G guys thrash out the technicals going forward.
