I don't find it odd that they didn't mention it because any mention of it would pre-empt a government decision and might cause the government to re-consider approval.
What I do find odd is the lack of comment on the item in the announcement on the slide headed "Linc Energy's UCG commercialisation" it said "Currently in excess of 20 commercial opportunities under consideration with a specific focus on production of CH4 gas for pipeline gas sales in favourable long-term markets". We haven't seen much discussion of this by LNC or commentators. Well there has been a lot of comment in the media recently about an impending gas shortage and sky rocketing prices after the large LNG plants come on stream in QLD after 2015. Sounds like a favourable long term market to me.
