    Depreciation was $80m in 08 and amortisation was only $6m. Depreciation will likely be about the same in 09.

    You post indicates you're not understanding where I'm coming from. In order to get to the earnings forecast by Commsec, you take: EBITDA - DA - Extraordinary Items - Income Tax = Net Earnings (Profit).

    I agree that 2008 wasn't bad. It's 2009 that's bad and that's always been the issue here.
