asteroider - the problem for exploration companies these days is the ludicrous amount of red tape they have to deal with just to drill a hole.

Iron ore in particular get's lumped with flora and fauna studies which take up time and resources. Then the time taken for them to get processed (by pencil-necked uni graduate idealists)....

Fortunately for the majors they have entire divisions equiped to deal with the process and backed by there state royalty cheques generally have no problem getting programmes approved - blind albino spider or not.

It is sad that most announcements from iron Ore explorers a reduced to trying to keep the momentum going with only a few poxy rock chip samples...
