Appointment of General Counsel
FAR Limited (ASX: FAR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Cowie to the role of General Counsel.

The role of General Counsel is new to FAR and is representative of the growth in the Company’s exploration activities and strategic focus. Michael will provide dedicated in-house legal advisory services to the Company as part of the leadership team.

Michael has over 25 years’ oil & gas legal, negotiations and commercial experience. His recent focus was in liquefied natural gas with (MIMI) Mitsubishi/Mitsui including floating LNG. Michael’s earlier career was with Mallesons, BP and BHP based in Melbourne, London and Houston.

Michael has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Monash University, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a long-standing member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and the Law Institute of Victoria.
