HAWK SPRINGS, WY - Samson Oil & Gas is preparing to fracture stimulate its Spirit of America II well in the Hawk Springs oil project in Goshen County
The well has recovered 307 barrels of fluid during the initial swabbing process, with 20% of the fluid being oil. The oil was measured at 33 degrees API (American Petroleum Institute) gravity.
Samson will now move a workover rig onto the location and the well will be fracture-stimulated in an effort to improve the productivity of the reservoir.
