Belrose, I tried to contact a director last week and couldn't raise him. I wonder if he was overseas checking on supply of units?
Interesting one on how the directors can indicate "works in progress" to shareholders without falling foul of market information requirements.
For a start I will be asking the directors to:
1) state the absolute size of the Australian market for batteries in each of the VRB size ranges (5-10 kW RAPS and UPS, 50-400kW power grid quality, generation efficiency enhancement, larger isolated grid support and larger UPS) and larger units for power arbitrage and renewable energy/carbon trading uses
2) outline the current target users and the factors enhancing or disadvantaging battery entry including government subsidy schemes
3) provide a summary of the marketing strategy by which PCE will sell batteries into these markets
4) describe the procedures which must be gone through from the initial enquiry regarding a possible VRB use through sizing, applicability, ordering, delivery, installation and completion.
And I might just ask directly for an estimate of earnings to see what happens.
