This turned out to be a real 'left field' announcement particularly as we already knew about Penumbra financing, Botswana drilling, Kenya submission and the planned share consolidation.
Effectively Conti will acquire a 26% shareholder. Hopefully the company will give us all the details this coming week so that we all can vote on the proposal knowing the pros and cons.
If it is a big BEE than it would be a company changer as was the purchase of Mashala. We therefore will have 'Conti Version 3'.
I am confident that this will reflect positively in Conti's share price once all bedded down. I am excited to say the least.
