As for Interactive Investor, they have been very confused about the Corporate Action from the start and have sent contradictory messages to different holders.
I have been trying to transfer my family ISAs from Interactive to Shard Jarvis where we have existing ISA accounts. I'm still waiting for clarity.
At Jarvis the conversion from MTR shares to SRT CDIs has gone through, on a one to one basis, and still sit within the ISA wrapper in GBP.
Interactive and other brokers seem to be interpreting HMRC regs differently to Jarvis so there will be plenty of questions asked in the months to come.
MTR took their lawyers' advice that the Chess Depository Interests would be eligible for ISA status.
Plenty to iron out .
