Blackrivered my suggestion is you wait to have the context of the announcement on Jan 15 - hopefully the intent is for the banks to still deal - then digest this information and you will be better informed to make a decision.

I would not be buying now unless you are prepared to speculate. The information you have that is current to determine the level of risk is the announcement 'in black letter' on 15th Dec. There is ambiguity in this,like the hybrid one - and hence the range of questions being asked by those seeking to understand.

I purchased as a long term investment prior to Dec 15 as I believe in Centro's underlying business model. Unfortunately the Banks have Centro by the balls in an economic climate time where higher than average debt levels are undesirable (astoundingly the banks lent Centro the money in the good times knowing clearly their debt position - yet some play the victim now).
