Just another comment regarding the Biodiesel Plant in Tasmania. I was wondering how they could actually make money from producing Biodiesel from Poppy Seed when the Poppy Seed itself sells for $4 per kg.

There are two types of poppies grown in Tasmania. Morphine poppies and Thebaine poppies. The poppy seed from the Thebaine poppies was previously considered to be virtually worthless because Thebaine dust is toxic and poppy seed tends to be coated in dust.

So it is the Thebaine poppy seed that would be used for the production of Biodiesel.
