Todays i don't understand your obsession with the contingent liability.
I am not an accountant but like i said before..
What difference does it make if it's 1 or 2 or 7 million? If the company goes broke then it will make not an iota of difference....if you go broke you go broke owing 1 or 2 millions of dollars or whatever. It is a contingent liability. Now is a global recession enough grounds for the government to back off? They have thrown their full support behind the Port Kembla venture because it will create hundreds of jobs. Why would they set out to destroy ARW that already has two plants ready to go?
The ball is in ARW's court. They need to consider all of their options in terms of alternative feedstocks and new investors driving the company forward. No doubt they are doing this.
Look todays i do understand and i also share your concerns but this is a penny stock and from my point of view i consider it worth investing a few dollars. If they get it right this time round it could pay a decent return.

read the following findings that were released late yesterday our time...thus the new heading
