The most expensive piece of plant, the cab, will be bought whole. It will just be assembly of the plant as the body. It is completely inaccurate to compare it to car manufacture.
I work with similar equipment (moving parts and hydraulics on the back of a cab), it is not particularly expensive to assemble.
