When you say " I'm looking to..." it means "I'm planning to..." . That's the definition, you either can't understand or don't want to. Now go and say " I'm going to stand by my point" , in that case would be different it means that you are going to do it for sure. Different would be saying " I'm looking to stand by my point" LOL
