Also I have spoken with Geoff about each of the deals.

One needs to understand the companies individually - There is a big difference between Bangs and Philips and ALERE.

So IMO Bangs didnt do anything purely because their business didnt adapt.

This is why ALERE/BBI is so BIG becuase it is going into a proven large product.

Merck - I think was a tactical play to get into more direct contact with some IVD companies - IMO this has worked.

The upside of Merck is their MILLIPORE company and I believe this will lead to revenues longer term.

AFFY/EBIO deal will end up bigger and better through Luminex

The traders hate this becuase they cant work it out like drilling a hole and looking for minerals.



Investors that have substantial amounts invested know exactly what the potantial is.
