No, just push them over. See the second photo in their blog, where the young guy is checking for plumb, how slender and narro that block nib is. Any masonry wall that is the stand alone structural loadbearing wall must be fully reinforced with core filling on all external walls for lateral support, the HX won't be able to place blocks over starter bars, no engineer can approve it without that. Their got a long way to go yet.
