IMO they did try to push through the takeover before announced about drilling result's. Yes, offer was good, but i think all nwe sh were hopping to drive that a bit longer to get a better price.
There was no communication from new to sh in the takeover time. But hey, i am sure everyone would have done the same. End off the day all made money from that deal
