Dear BlackstoneAus,

I shared your concern re the new board appointments. The new board members look good on paper but I was unable to identify new skills that they bring and the current board fails to cover. I therefore sought clarification from the CZD Chairman Mr David Williams.

In a phone discussion today with David he discussed his philosophy, general approach and by the end of the conversation I am again relaxed that CZD is in good strong and very commercially aware hands.

My omission in the conversation with David was that I failed to ask about the board and the current lack of "skin in the game"... hence if you read HC David... if you could buy a few it would make holders very happy!

The trials and tribulations of biotechs are not fun for holders... but the potential rewards are great. My gut says 2014 will be a winner but the really serious rewards (assuming we get there) will take a little more patience...
