I can speculate all day, but really, there are a plethora of reasons.
I did note this table and the divided projection..... wow. yeild would be like 15% at current share prices!
Though just for fun here's some mild speculation, if.... RMS/SLR were to merge.. and it would be nil sum (then maybe the recent share price rise, is just making sure the market gets used to the ratio). Not saying I want that sort of outcome. I don't, but... trying to be open to events that are not too far 'out there'.
