    Mined 68 Mt, by BHP for 30 yrs, from 1965-1993.
    Regarded as one of the worlds premier iron ores because of its high grade and low impurities. Much infrastructure in place, easy to restart. Ships will load at the mine, no need for transport cost. But most of easy ore allready mined- only difficult ore left, high strip ratio 8:1 will cost about $16/t and being on an island, makes flexibility/ logistics difficult.
