Thanks for the heads-up jefferies2, I caught Mr Lui's references to the HK cosmetic shop and jewellery chain, and of course assumed them to be Chow Tai Fook and SaSa. However I didn't see the relevance to GCN, other than that they are the same companies that Novel Orient has "close connections" with.
BTW, I wonder who this "Jerreries" is that I've feel lumped in with.
