I am a novice when it comes to the answer to your question.

I have asked this question of my part time broker (I mostly trade online thru Comsec) who has many years experience and runs his own brokerage. He claims he doesn't know the reason for low volume repetitive trades, even though he has tried to find out.

Threads on HC keep saying these trades are bots, whatever bots are.

My "friendly advisor" claims that provided the trade is over 100,000 shares, brokers do not have to declare the volume, hence the series of trades yesterday at 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 shares he believes were "masked" volume trades. IF he is correct, I can only surmise that Mr 1427 doesn't want the mums and dads to know what he is really doing.

Can anyone enlighten me on the above?

P.S. Advisor says his charts show NXS SP has bottomed having tested the 28.5c level and failed by some 10% to break lower than that.
