    What is the source of your info, because from what I can see, over the two days of that price surge, only about 24 mill were traded ... and a lot of them would have been opportunists.

    I've long wondered what caused that surge, so if you have info, please enlighten us.

    In particular because ABN Amro is currently in the throes of being sold to the Bank of Scotland, so I can't imagine it bothering to make a spec purchase like this at a time like this (no matter how tiny) without some reason.
