New Caledonia government falls apart over nickel deal and independence push

Hi all,

Some slightly concerning news coming from New Caledonia in the last week. Who is aware of these issues and what are your thoughts?

I have emailed the company today with some general questions if they expect these disruptions to effect them, and if so, what risk management do they have in place to deal with that.

From the company website: "Processing high grade ore imported from New Caledonia, the TECH Project will produce nickel sulfate, cobalt sulfate, high purity alumina and other by-products – leaving, for the first time ever in the world, almost zero waste products."

I'm a holder and big believer, perhaps I'm seeking reassurance.
