Ah, yes, …. the 25 MW Project. They were planning that in 2008, applied for a grant in 2009, and it was going to be in the water by 2010. They must have rediscovered the old envelope with the doodles on the back!

An important strategy for the company is to always re-arrange the chairs to give the impression of progress. (Not Deck Chairs, please note.) So it is with new look website, new pictures, artistic impressions, and comments that the weather is the present limiting factor. That worked for several years for CETO 4 on RI, so why not try it again.

A few months ago we were keenly debating here what MO was going to announce during the Roadshows because there had to be a justification, didn’t there? No, not at all. He went into great detail giving explanations of issues of minor import and carefully avoiding those questions that were strategic. The Roadshows were merely a sop to tell us that the deployment of CETO 5 was imminent, as if we didn’t know. But what are a few months in the course of a decade?

Yes, it will happen, but on the CWE elastic time scale. Can’t help being a little amused by the expectations of, is it today or is it tomorrow? It is of value to understand the company behaviour patterns.
