With possibly 2 weeks as COO when Esragate started, I would not think she herself would have expected to get the CEO position. 3 months on, she may have had discussions with the board (god help her there) and they passed her over or she passed up the offer - only those in the know will know. Unfortunately, we may have the wrong board making the decision to appoint the ceo.
