Sundance appoints Giulio Casello as new CEO

SUNDANCE Resources has poached Sinosteel Midwest executive Giulio Casello to fill the role of chief executive.
Thsi comes more than three months after the emerging iron ore miner lost its entire board in a plane crash.
The Australian has been told the Perth-based miner is expected to announce to the market today that Mr Casello will join the company, to complete the reconstitution of the board and senior management team, following the plane crash in the Congo in June.
The company is developing the Mbalam Iron Ore Project
in West Africa, for which it is finalising foundation offtake, funding and joint venture agreements.
Sundance's board, which included mining identity Ken Talbot and chief executive Don Lewis, was visiting the project when the plane they were on crashed.
Mr Casello is expected to take up his new position early next month.
