After 5 years' on the Skilled board, and having being the only Skilled director that owned no shares (i.e., had no alignment with shareholders) over that entire period, Ms McFadden has now finally taken the plunge.

I suppose a non-Exec not owning shares is passable, but a chairman not being a shareholder could be interpreted as a vote of no confidence, at worst, or a curiosity, at best.

Ms McFadden is either an astute investor, or a streetwise company director, or both.

Either way, welcome on board, Chair.

PS. I wonder how the former MD & CEO, must feel at this development...i.e., "As soon as someone else is at the helm, Greg, I'll buy stock in the business, but not while you're running the gig."
