There will be many similar tests of corporate governance in coming months..a cynic might suggest that nothing will be enough to break down the apparent magic circle of non-execs elsewhere who sit cosily on each others' boards as supposed independents whilst allegedly waving through all sorts of "snouts in the trough" behaviour?
