I disagree that it was a media beat-up. The media captured some pretty dramatic footage of our PM, so it was right, in my view, to show the footage.
I just get the impression that the PM's security could have been much better handled. Firstly, was the threat assessment a good one, and secondly, was her safe exit from the venue executed in the best possible way? I presume there will be some post event debriefing and analysis going on this week to answer those very questions.
