At theend of the day it's the value in the ground that sets share price. CEO's might have a small effect but it's the value in the ground that sets the share price.

We don't know if SFR is drilling the largest lens. We don't know how many lenses in the clusters SFR has We don't know what is in the ground for CDU.

There are some pretty smart operators out there and they are paying what they believe is a fair price. Remember they have done their sums on what they think both companies are worth. Don't get too rapped up in personalities.

Both companies hire top level geologists who decide on the exploration methods. I do not think in either company the CEO over rides the top geologist in how the exploration effort will go ahead. The volume of money made available to the exploration team is the only variation the CEO would have an effect on. Exploration is a managed task and it just takes time.

Wayne McCrae was unlucky in that so many went long just before the JORC. Going long is not investing it's gambling and subject to the rules of the casino. Those going long forgot that in the event of their gamble paying off most would be selling back into the market. As far as the company goes that would not have been in the interests of the company. Those shares could have gone straight into the pocket of a TO merchant. In all the writings on here that has not been mentioned. That the situation got completely out of control and effected all shareholders also has not been mentioned.
