In general, the cannabis/weed market no matter how you package was on the investor's radar but they have been shafted for too long and are now tired of the money-grabbing antics of those strutting the corridors of these ASX-type listings.

It's been similar to the spruiker's wagon rolling into the town in the old Western movies. Selling the bottled colored water, taking the money, and heading on to the next town.

From my observation, the only people making billions from "drugs" are the worldwide criminal gangs.

The fringe dwellers on the ASX setting up companies selling the "hype" surrounding the commercialization of various "weeds" - have also lined their pockets with fees/commissions/salaries/consultancy with their entrepreneurial business plans.

At some point in due course, these materials will find a use in the medical industry but it will take years of investment from ethical companies and the passing of government legislation.

In the meantime, punters will be fleeced of their cash as these "well-meaning" astute business entrepreneurs go about their business.
