I agree gov, and this certainly seems odd doing a buy back, especially when they talk about surplus money (gee what a problem hey) which by doing so increases a dividend (would have thought it meant the same thing) yet each substantial holder was asked if they wish participate & each of them has confirmed they do not intend to participate in such buy back, but then why would they? as this increases the % shareholdings by such actions.
so its a case of break out the "capital management tool" to save the day, which again only should increase the sp by 10% should it not? yet instead atm its down 13%, so praise the board for its determination.
