No I haven't got a close relationship with Nick or Gavin, far from it, met them both maybe a dozen times or so.
As I've said before I have been a shareholder from the beginning, always an outspoken supporter of the technology and the company although if I think something is incorrect or could be handled better, I will tell them. Gavin even told other shareholders at the last AGM to speak to me if they wanted to know of my thoughts of the AJX set-up in South Carolina as I had just returned from there.
There are a few other investors and hot copper posters I know personally, they know my level of investment, my support of the company and they also know I run my own company ( private not public mainly because I don't want shareholders or partners telling me what to do ), and if I've got something to say, I'll say it.
Now getting back to Nick, I do think he is doing an excellent job, incredibly keen and hardworking but we have had our disagreements.
I will be back in the US in a couple of months, whether I drop in and see the AJX progress I don't know yet. The last time Nick and I spoke it was cordial but a bit tense but I reiterate " he is moving the company forward tremendously well" and I remain a long term supporter and shareholder.
