And the "full ICU" thing is almost everywhere and always exaggerated. I am a physician and on the board of a hospital...at no point was this the case in our city...ICUs, by their nature, are VERY expensive to staff---they are designed to run at around 80% occupancy---(even pre-COVID)---anything less and they are a major drag on the finances...so the 95% full stat used to scare people is just 15% above normal planned occupancy. And it is actually easier than advertised to "create" ICU rooms if it became necessary---hasn't so far. Remember the Temporary Hospitals set up in NYC and the Navy Hospital ships? Not used, ever..not once. Not needed. So your argument is not based on fact, just fear mongering. You can do better. I'm somewhat certain...
