The recent irresponsible behaviours by individuals in Aus over the past 18 months whether it by escaping quarantine or illegally skipping borders indicate that there is a significant recalcitrant share of the population who simply put self interest first even when it has the potential to do enormous societal damage . This is why I subscribe to the liberty side of freedom; not socially unfettered freedom.

But of course I realise that a very small percentage of our population may be on the Autism Spectrum or have other mental health issues and who will resist any form if vaccine just because the notion of vaccine is abhorrent to them and that they have an inability to empathise with others resulting in obsessive self interest.
IMO the balance of the unvaccinated is say a year will have a liberal cohort of such individuals.
