I’ll bet the company is not thinking about using its $20m right now to get on the front foot, literally travel to South Africa or engage someone there for trials with fresh samples of the new variant and proclaim we can detect it with near certainty, because we have to be judicious with money.
Or maybe it will be on the agenda for the next board meeting. In a fortnight.
Remember all the “hare and tortoise” comparisons mid-year about our wise and careful management, being slow and methodical? You were wrong. Give me fast and furious any day - that can still be achieved with wisdom.
