    My bad, I'm a customer too (but not a holder). Is that the CFO who took over?

    Everything I posted is still correct though. In a crisis, executive management is typically just worried about doing a good job and doing the right thing.

    Generally speaking it's when everything is seemingly going well when executives get complacent, forget their responsibilities and make mistakes.

    I posted about this a few months ago. Business errors like 1. egregiously bad financial advice 2. new products that money launderers and worse can use to illegally transfer money 3. bad lending practices can only exist for extended periods due to failures at multiple levels, typically due to a combination of complacency and arrogance.

    I'd be very surprised if current management at all 4 majors isn't focused on how to protect the bank for the future. Personal considerations would be very much a secondary consideration for them all, if at all imho.
