Think it might be starting to get stuck on a downward channel, though it might be saved by the amount of volume coming in at the 8c mark.
cup 1 formed a good looking handle but cup and handle formation is more often a continuation sign rather than reversal so can often fail when the trend prior to the cup is downwards. The SP went for it when thebhandle formation was complete but could hold.
cup 2, the handle failed to form.
looks like it could be going into a 3rd cup. Large volume at 8c will probably stop the bottom falling out but patience will be needed.
though a ground breaking announcement will always stuff up a neat looking chart
