The only place I can think of with so much easy access cobalt is the tailing's dams of Yabulu north of Townsville. There was talk of Palmer getting the plant up and running, which IMO would never happen (too costly) but with so called cobalt rich tailings and the dams being so close to sea level, something needs to be done. COB plant would be IMO a cost effective way to retrieve the cobalt and remove an environmental hazard in one go. The IPO is worth as much if not more than our cobalt rich mine IMO. Bring on the next announcement so we can maybe make another step forward.
