Back in July I came across Delminco - we all know who Delminco is now. (Anyone who wants to revisit below is thread.) Delminco are the owners of the bauxite tenements but they also have applied for a numer of others around Maytown, Chillagoe, Palmerville - we may inherit these along with the bauxite deal?

MKY's subsid, ConEx, also has been applying for a number of tenements that, as yet, do not appear on MKY's list of tenements.

What does all this mean???? I think we are in for exciting times. I think MKY's strategy is to be a multi mineral explorer....................................

Have been doing a bit more research on MKY's tenements.

When MKY acquired Queensland Uranium it also acquired (if my memory serves me) it's subsidiary, Consolidated Exploration NQ Pty Ltd (ConEx) who seem sto be applying for a number of EPM's in FNQ. One is 16121 81k SSW of Coen (see link below)

Interestingly, the other coy shown applying for nearby tenements, Delminco P/L, has the same address as ConEx (PO Box 140, Yorky's Knob) Delminco seems to be run by a Ralph De Lacey who's profile is ->

Ralph De Lacey was Acting Chairman of Consolidated Tin Mines Limited. Ralph De Lacey serves as Managing Director and Director of Consolidated Tin Mines Limited. He is an active miner and explorer in north Queensland. He has operated successful large scale alluvialgold mining operations on the Palmer River Goldfields during 1993 to 1999. Since then he has been involved in mineral exploration projects throughout north Queensland. He is currently a Director of Delminco Pty Ltd, a uranium exploration company, and Managing Director of NQ Mining Enterprises Pty Ltd, a mining project management company currently managing a variety of mining and exploration projects throughout north Queensland. Mr. De Lacey is currently in his eighth term as President of the influential lobby group North Queensland MinersAssociationInc.andcurrentPresidentofthe Queensland Small Miners Council. The author of three published books, Mr. De Lacey holds a Certificate of Earth Science from James Cook University.............

Not sure what connection is - does anyone know? Maybe NQ Mining Enterprises Pty Ltd (which also has the same address) is project managing MKY's mining applications.

Another EPM granted to ConEx is 16050 in Mareeba, 12k W of Dimbula
