thought the same macro.....only a 3 year payback to upgrade their rubbish.
the calorific value adding certainly stood out.

if this tech takes hold, it will force the price of higher quality native coal down due to the vast quantities of lower rank throughout the world and there must be a many rulers (of the measuring kind, but not limited to) being cast/casting over this tech.

great example being asx listed coy nmr, they have a huge resource of low grade coal and getting larger by the day and could make zillions competing in the higher grade space...and of course, there are so many others of this ilk.

seems logical to me that at some stage, one or more of these massive low grade deposits will be set up to produce a bce to compete on a global scale.

do it not and the world, or more-so, less endowed countries will be slaves forever to escalating prices as the higher quality deposits are consumed.

it appears a slam dunk for india to head down this road, whether it be via coldry or other forms of drying, it seems they have little choice.

boy, this is going to be a long day, couldn't sleep and forrest gump, my favourite movie is on again tonight.

anyway, luck to all and good morning.

ps. there's a fantastic depth of knowledge in these parts and this newbie thanks them for sharing and hopes ect can repay your faith shown many times over.
