DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
Range, an international company with oil and gas assets and oilfield services operations in Trinidad and Indonesia, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Mu (Robin) Luo as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Dr Luo is a senior oil and gas professional with 36 years' experience working for leading international E&P and oilfield services companies. He has worked on various giant conventional and unconventional projects across all levels from research to operations. He is currently a principal development geophysicist to Inpex Corporation, leading a multi-billion Ichthys LNG project in Australia. Prior to that, he held principal roles with Sinopec Oil and Gas, PGS, Japan Petroleum Exploration Company Limited, and Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation.
Dr Luo holds a PhD in Exploration Geophysics from the Curtin University, Australia; MSc in Geophysics from the University of Queensland, Australia; and BSc in Geophysics from the Petroleum University of China. He is a member of the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers, and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
Dr Luo is an Australian resident which satisfies the requirement for the Company to have two Australian resident directors under the Australian Corporations Act. As a result, the Company expects trading of its shares on the Australian Stock Exchange to resume shortly.

Full name and age: Mu Luo, aged 60
Dr Luo has not been a director of any company in the last five years and does not hold any interest in the share capital of the Company.
There are no other matters in relation to the new director that require disclosure under the AIM Rules.

Extremely disappointed with this board decision. The Chairman has not listened to shareholders in appointing another Chinese director. This is a big problem in market perception with Range viewed as a Chinese company and not a company of largely small Western shareholders.
The BOD's has been advised by the London NOMAD that this is an impediment to share growth but in typical arrogant Chinese fashion they don't give a big rats.
Well done Kerry Gu, you do not deserve to be Chairman.
