The board of Extract Resources Limited is extremely pleased to advise of the appointment of Ms Inge Zaamwani-Kamwi as an additional independent director to the board, effective immediately. Peter McIntyre, Managing Director said today "Inge's appointment has come at a very important stage of the Company as we enter a new phase of growth with our Namibian project. She brings invaluable mining and Namibian experience to the Board, and is a highly respected business leader in Namibia." A brief summary of Ms Zaamwani-Kamwi’s experience follows:- Information on Ms Inge Zaamwani-Kamwi Inge is a qualified mining lawyer having obtained her LLB (Honors) from Thames Valley University in London, her Master’s in Law (LLM) from the University of Dundee, Scotland. She is a member of the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London and a Fellow of the Centers for Leadership and Public Values of the UCT Graduate School of Business. Inge has acquired post graduate leadership training from Insead, France, UCT and Harvard Business School in collaboration with the University of Witwatersrand. Inge is currently the Managing Director of Namdeb Diamond Corporation which is jointly owned by the Government of the Republic of Namibia and De Beers SA. Namdeb is a significant contributor to the Namibian economy and one of the country's largest private sector employers. Prior to this, she served as Mining Commissioner and Director of Mines in the Namibian Ministry of Mines and Energy. To June 2008, Inge was the President of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry; she also sits on the board of several of Namibia’s premier companies, institutions and non-government organisations.
