Firstly, I think anyone who does put themselves forward needs to have unanimous backing.
i clearly have rather different views on how things have turned out from the majority here, so I am not interested.
This was always going to be a long drawn out debacle, i have said so many times.
My views are, that given all of the reporting is up to date, we should allow the process through til the end of this quarter. This also aligns with the Mali court proceedings to possibly take until early June.
The longer things take the more likely we will not be able to offload Morilla stake. Without that there will be no other deals, as the company is un investable IMO.
In the meantime we have an AGM, where a BOD member will have his support tested. If he is re-elected we can forget any further action (249d etc).
If he is booted out resoundingly and by the end of June the process is being dragged on then I would support a 249d.
Test Gordons support.
Rally an against vote to reelection folks and send a strong signal to the others.
