AGREE sp3 focus is getting the 2 million ton plant built,
but the potential for export will be available to power operator to maximise asset /brown coal, in which form is the question going forward, as a BCE pellet or where Datang has an already vested interest in coal to liquid/gas.
DATANG own a mine in Mongolia that will have 60 million ton capacity operating within 2 to 3 years ,at present 20 million tons .
Coal to liquid/ gas would get approval by greens as less carbon pollution and provide an alternative to continual use of brown coal.
JAPAN / DATANG involved IN COAL TO LIQUID TECHNOLOGY.
ECT well placed with its technology to provide CTL .
