Rosy - it amazes me how new holders/posters suddenly come out of the woodwork harmonising the WOW factor of GDN (and we've seen many of them in the past) with the difference being this time being the Ukraine Poc lease.
Quite astounding was the comparison of the purchase of this lease by some posters to the Seychelle successful acquisition by WHL and then WALLAH!! the man behind the WHL deal is suddenly made director of GDN and management actually state that he was behind the Pov lease purchase by GDN.
So, in effect Mr Rowbottom and his group of "investors" (some we must assume are on this forum or atleast people who knew of the deal) brokered a deal that cost them nothing and cost GDN 300million heads and 300mill options (plus $1.5mill costs to JV partner) and suddenly he's a director?? What the?? Was this part of the Pov deal or what???
As I have said in the past - expect the unexpected with GDN as there are always deals done behind the scenes and whether they are formally announced to SHs only the future will tell this tale (it has all the twists and turns of a who dunnit crime mystery).
I am not for one instance suggesting impropriety by the management of GDN, just questioning the deal that has been done. What was Mr Rowbottoms relationship with management and directors prior to the formation of Honoratus? Be interesting to know so one must delve deeper and Rosy when I find out, I will happily post the details on HC for you. In the mean time, to any of you new posters on the GDN forum who seem to be in the know, maybe you could post the info you appear to have that no one else has been privvy too.
All just my opinion - DYOR especially when it comes to GDN!!
