They have until the 15th to file the 10Q. I think they want the CC before that comes out so people don't question the fact at the end of September they would have burned through nearly all the money they had and probably begged Amgen to give them 10MM early. I still believe these guys are cooked and worse than the predecessor. You know you are running out of money, so why give yourself nice fat raises? Why add two more board members? The executive team is making over 2mm per year, and with 130+ other employees to pay, how long will 10mm last? If Biodel's merger goes through and it looks as though they just lack a quorum, they are going to be out of that business so won't want or need the Unilife stuff. Where are these supposed funds going to come from? Based on their past track record, it would seem to me very difficult to get anyone to pony up anymore money. Its been years since some of these programs started, how many have even progressed to the end stage? MedImmune? Have they even gotten past the development phase?
