Good to see!
But have to say I have mixed feelings about Hallam's departure.
It's very good in that he was never good for the company. He always had a cavalier, contemptuous disregard for the interests of shareholders and an air about him that he was there under suffrance.
As well, he had a role in the company that was clearly way beyond his strategic abilities.
However, it is also disappointing because he is slinking away without yet having found the decency - or the balls - to be truthful, transparent and accountable for the failures of Oraline 8, various distribution deals (e.g. Medinat and ED), the Bioscreens JV and, most importantly, the SiYi JV.
He was happy to beat the prospects up in your mid-2008 Rights Prospectus. But nothing since - except excuses, delays, passing the buck, sophistry and....just silence.
There is absolutely nothing to thank him for - but much to condemn. As most of us (apart from the recent entrants) including the now-departed Fitpatrick eventually found to our great cost.
How appropriate that the SP zips up on his departure. Such a perfect symbolism!
